Segway has designed a more user-friendly robotic lawn mower for small- to medium-sized gardens, drawing on data and feedback from the
Navimow H series.
They have improved their
Exact Fusion Location System (EFLS) by updating it to EFLS 2.0, which uses AI-enhanced
GNSS data to program the
Navimow for more complex lawns. You can set up your robotic mower yourself using the latest updates from Segway or guide your
Navimow with your
smartphone or
tablet. Define your own boundary lines and mowing zones to maintain your lawn, and adjust the area as your landscaping changes. If you move, it’s easy to take it with you.
It’s one of the few GPS-style robotic lawn mowers suitable for smaller homes, representing a true innovation. The
i105E model is perfect for family yards, covering an area of
500 m². This Real-Time Kinematic (
RTK) positioning system is more accurate than GPS because it uses a combination of data to navigate complex terrain logically, and it will mow the lawn until the job is done, changing direction to avoid tracks and maintain the health of the grass.
The new
i-Series robotic mowers feature
visual fencing technology—an improvement over the H-Series—allowing them to use their internal camera to mow even when the satellite signal is weak. With a
140-degree field of view,
AI integrations allow the
Navimow to detect anything that isn’t grass and stop at a safe distance from obstacles, retreating in another direction. This is ideal for families with young children, pets, or a lot of activity in the yard. By setting your robotic mower’s mowing parameters, you can choose the frequency and schedule of mowing, which enhances safety if it’s programmed to run outside of active hours.
