M-Tronic (M) STIHL: The engine management is completely electronic and guarantees optimal power at all times. The electronic box, which includes a microprocessor, a temperature sensor, and the ignition module, controls a solenoid valve which continually adjusts the fuel flow according to the engine load. The changes are automatically managed and the power supply adjusts according to altitude and the degree of clogging of the air filter.
STIHL ElastoStart system: The Elastostart is composed of a shock absorber located between the rope and the starter handle. It absorbs the shocks caused by compression when starting.
