Cylinder with four transfer channels: These four channels ensure perfect homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture before ignition and a maximum filling rate of the cylinder. Combustion is thus optimized and engine efficiency is significantly higher. Result: low consumption for high engine torque over a wide speed range and sharp acceleration.
Compensator: Whatever the level of clogging of the air filter, the STIHL compensator maintains constant the dosage between the air and the fuel entering the engine. This ensures that the engine always develops optimized power. Additionally, maintenance intervals are longer and costs reduced.
Long-life filter with pre-separation: The air sucked in is rotated by the flywheel. Centrifugal force propels the heaviest and largest dust particles outwards. Through the channel internal pre-separation, air almost free of particles is led to the air filter. Compared to other ordinary filter systems, the pre-separation system achieves a significantly longer filter life.
