Automatic return decompressor: The decompressor reduces engine compression when starting. So the effort required on the launcher is less. Getting started is then easier and more comfortable. The decompressor is a valve placed at the top of the cylinder. When opened at startup, it releases some of the pressure in the cylinder. And from the first combustion, it closes automatically to allow the engine to deliver all its power.
Compensator: Whatever the level of clogging of the air filter, the STIHL compensator maintains constant the dosage between the air and the fuel entering the engine. This ensures that the engine always develops optimized power. Additionally, maintenance intervals are longer and costs reduced.
Pre heating of air: By changing the position of the chainsaw from summer to winter, the intake air is preheated on the engine fins. This ensures that the carburetor does not freeze and that you can continue working in freezing weather.
